The Curator
I’m Damiana, the creator and curator behind Conjuring Romance.
I’ve been exploring the darker, spicier corners of love and desire for over a decade. My journey started in 2015 as a sex blogger and reviewer of books and intimate products, before I began self-publishing my own romance and horror stories in 2018. You can find my work under the pen names Damiana Beckett, Damiana Meade, and Dex Bryant.
My personal life deeply informs my creative work. I’ve been in a D/s relationship with my partner since 2008, and I’m proudly neurodivergent. Both of these experiences shape how I view the world, how I connect with others, and the unapologetic stories I choose to tell.
I built this space because I was tired of hiding my love for dark, spicy romance. I wanted a place where “wtf is casual, let’s merge souls” isn’t just a mood – it’s the standard. My goal is to share the stories I love, curate the perfect reading experiences for you, and eventually help other authors bring their own dark visions to life.
